Conductor Armidale Youth Winds, Tilbuster Winds

Louisa Sindel-Marshall is a saxophone, clarinet, flute & piano teacher at NECOM.

Louisa also conducts Tilbuster Ensemble and Armidale Youth Winds. Louisa has a particular interest in neurodivergence and how it affects music teaching.

Louisa has 30 years teaching experience, and has studied in both Australia and France.

She has played in orchestras, jazz bands, symphonic wind bands, big bands, chamber groups, saxophone orchestras and saxophone quartets.

Louisa and her husband Paul often give solo and duet recitals.

Originally from Sydney, Louisa & Paul ran their own music studio preparing their students for concerts, exams & HSC performances before moving to Armidale in 2015.

Outside of NECOM, Louisa & Paul homeschool their three children and look after their many animals.
